What a fun year we have had!

This year has been lots of fun in Pre-School! We have been very busy learning lots of new things, exploring our classroom and making new friends. The grown ups in our room are very proud of us for growing so much over the year. In our last week we had a treat of a bouncy castle, we all had lots of fun bouncing and jumping up high. Have a lovely summer!

Experimenting with Water and Ice!

This week in Pre-School, we have been enjoying the hot weather and finding different ways to cool down. We splashed our feet in our big water tray and we tried to think of different ways to free our toys which had been frozen in ice!

We're going on a Bear Hunt....

This week in Pre-School we have been doing lots of activities relating to one of our favourite stories 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'. We have made pictures of the different scenes from the book, made bears out of playdough, baked bear shaped biscuits and went on a bear hunt outside to see what we could find!

Our visitors this week...

This week in Foundation Stage we have had some very tiny visitors. On Monday some eggs arrived for us to look after and watch over them. Over the next couple of days chicks began to hatch out of them. We have been to visit them a couple of times this week to see how they are getting on!

Pancake day!

This week we enjoyed trying different toppings on our pancakes to celebrate Pancake Day. We chose from jam, lemon and sugar and golden syrup. Eating them was the best part!

Look at what we have been learning in Pre-School...

Since coming back to school after the holidays the children have been very busy in Pre-School taking part in lots of different activities. These have included exploring the new jungle role play area, counting, looking at different books and baking.

Christmas Activities!

Over the past few weeks we have had lots of fun in Pre-School with all of our Christmas activities! We put on our jumpers for Christmas jumper day, went out to play in the snow, had our Christmas sing-a-long in the hall, enjoyed dancing and playing games at our Christmas parties and showed our grown ups what we do at school at our Stay and Play. Children In Need 'Spotacular'!

We have had a lovely day in our spots for Children in Need 2017. The teddy bears in our classroom were having a picnic and we coloured in our own Pudsey bear. Thank you to all parents and children for your kind donations!

Stay and Play fun!

We had lots of fun at our Stay and Play sessions. The children enjoyed showing their adults around the classroom and the things that they get up to at Pre-School. Our activities included exploring in the sand, playing with the small world toys and mixing different colour paints to see what new colours we could make. It was lovely to have our adults come to and join us, thank you!
